Welcome to the 2017 - 2018 school year and our amazing new campus! We invite you to make this school year your best yet. All of us look forward to working with you on your educational journey as you prepare for high school and beyond!

I am entering my 25th year in education and 12th in Alvarado ISD. I taught in Louisiana for thirteen years before my family and I relocated to the Metroplex. We live in Burleson. My wife is also in education and she is beginning her 27th year. She is the math specialist on her campus in the Crowley ISD. We have one son who will be a tenth grader in Joshua ISD.

I graduated from Nicholls State University in 1993 with a degree in education. My major was Social Studies Education with a minor in Health and Physical Education. After my first year of teaching, I started on my Masters' Degree and finished in 1999 with a degree in Education and Supervision.

Before moving into administration, I coached for sixteen years including three at Alvarado High School. I have been a Head Boys Basketball and Girls Basketball Coach while also assisting in football, baseball, and softball. I still enjoy being around all sports and talking sports with coaches and athletes.

The 2017 - 2018 school year will be my ninth year as assistant principal at Alvarado Junior High School. Our new campus is simply amazing. The staff and I are fired up and ready to assist at any time. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
